Michael Littman has over 40 years of experience in business law, including securities law and SEC compliance, mergers and acquisitions, incorporations, and much more. Mr. Littman started his career as House Counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Co. from 1973 until 1975, when he opened his private practice in Colorado. Beginning in 1981, his practice was increasingly concentrated in corporate and securities law. In the last 20 years, the vast bulk of his practice has been corporate and securities law.
His experience includes federal and state registered IPO's, SEC and State enforcement representation, and Mergers and Acquisitions of public companies. Mr. Littman is currently representing six reporting companies, and has recently represented many companies (foreign and domestic) regarding accounting, audit and disclosure issues through SEC comment letters on company filings. Mr. Littman has extensive experience in advising startup and operating companies in audit preparation and management and Board of Directors issues involving accounting treatment and disclosures.
Mr. Littman has helped obtain trading status for over 65 public companies and drafted an average of 5-6 Private Placement Memoranda per year for over 20 years. Mr. Littman was also a real estate broker in Colorado from 1978-1985 and has represented real estate developers and participated in development himself.
